Barnett Continent Ileal Reservoir is rarely performed in patients with ulcerative colitis who require colectomy. Prepouch ileitis occasionally occurs ileal pouches. The role of oral mesalamine the treatment prepouch has not been established. We describe a case which was successfully treated mesalamine. This first literature showing that safe and effective patient continent ileostomy.
